"In 2015 Madison was helping me with starting young horses and working on corrections. She had a very good nature with and could teach them lessons in a relaxed environment without causing too much stress. This can be hard to find especially dealing with thoroughbreds. Her riding technique was another great talent and it woudn't take long for the horses to be responding and performing well under a soft touch.

"I have known Madi for many years. We first meet while competing against each other in the pony ring then my sister Charlotte bought ‘Bart’ from Madi and her family. Since then we have been great friends over the years.
Four years ago now Madi was in Australia working for Ali Berwick and Billy Raymont and I had mentioned to her that I was looking at taking a break between school and University. She mentioned that there was a position available and within 10 days I had my wisdom teeth removed and was on a plane! While working with Madi I witnessed her capabilities and confidence of working with a variety of horses (ages, breeds, heights etc). She always placed the horses needs before her own and works in a calm and compassionate manner.
Madi is a beautiful soft, kind rider who works away quietly to get the best results out of the horses. From ponies to thoroughbreds and hunter hacks, Madi has ridden a range of horses to fantastic results. Australia was where we were introduced to the PEMF machine and saw how amazing this machine was. We both asked ourselves why there wasn't one in New Zealand and it is so exciting the Madi is working her way at bringing this service to the South Island.
Two years ago Madi had returned from working in the UK and I had a 13hh pony which needed breaking in and schooling. Willow was special to our family being the first foal from our first pony, Willow Spring Chelsea who has since passed away. Madi has developed fantastic facilities to provide a safe space for the breaking in process, then being able to work the ponies in the arena, on the track or hack out down the road or at the beach. Willow stayed with Madi for four weeks and upon return, we had a happy and healthy pony which had the basics installed and working nicely. A testament to this was having a 13year old do the majority of the work riding Willow since then until she had been sold to a loving family. I can’t recommend Madi enough for any of the services she offers. She always has yours and the horses best interests at heart and is passionate about working in the Equestrian Industry."

"I suffer from chronic pain from multiple operations on my knees, I also have loose ligaments and a back injury which means that my muscles are always overworked ass they take up the slack. I normally get a deep tissue massage every two weeks or so, this is the first time I have tried this (PEMF Therapy) and I felt relief during treatment and even more relief a few hours later. “Anyone who knows me, knows I just want my superb wee mare Annie to be as happy, healthy and as comfortable with her ridden work as possible whether it concerns saddlefit, nutrition, farrier or physical health etc.
She is a slow maturing lass and struggles with her canter work and in particular her right canter lead. Regular Atlas, Equissage, Bowen and Sports Massage have been very beneficial, our improvement has been slow but steady.
I was very keen to try PEMF and jumped at the chance to have her treated recently. Maddie is just so lovely and genuine and I found her to be very empathetic to introducing the PEMF so Annie felt comfortable. It was intriguing to watch how the muscles reacted and Maddie was very knowledgeable in describing what was happening and why.
Yesterday was our first competition since and I'm delighted to report Annie was utterly fabulous with the highlight of the day was achieving the correct canter leads - Hallelujah!
We also took home the Registered Preliminary Championship for the NEG's Autumn Dressage Series and I'm confident that having Maddie in our corner has helped immensely with this result!

"Maddie hands down did amazing job starting our daughters pony.
Maddie got to know peaches well and took each step as peaches showed she was ready. It was so important to me we found the right person to work with peaches to give her the best start to her ridden life and being safe for our daughter. Maddie kept in touch regularly with videos and updates and asked questions that would help with peaches training, she even booked in and got dentist to her when identified her teeth needed attention. Peaches stayed a bit longer on a schooling fee after her dental to ensure everything was perfect before we took her home.
My 9yr old daughter even went up and rode peaches for her 3rd time ever under saddle while she was there, which went amazing!We were always welcome to pop in just to visit or see her training . Maddie truly treats every horse like her own, and puts her heart and soul into her job and takes the time to understand them. I can assure anyone looking to enquire that Maddie uses methods that really install a positive all round experience for the horse not just to achieve results.
We got back a happy pony who loves taking her wee rider on adventures and really enjoys being ridden. We couldn’t have asked for more!
